Glasgow is often a town that is certainly stuffed with dazzling living, but at night it appears to acquire its 2nd wind. You'll find thousands of pubs and night clubs all around the city and Glaswegians love to make good usage of them, however when the pubs shut down 1000s of young, and often not so young, party animals love to go out into the clubs. That being said, do you know the perfect
Glasgow clubs locations? Okay, needless to say, it all depends on your own taste in music, but here I will discuss my own best three recommendations.
1. The Garage. This specific club right at the western end of Sauchiehall Street is more a live music setting compared to the conventional disco, yet is very favored by music fans of all tastes. The songs performed is diverse to say the least ranging from dance to hip-hop and lastly 1980's music that's making a huge revival nowadays (many thanks Mum and Dad!). Its seriously popular among the college student market both due to its near closeness to the university as well as its numerous alcoholic beverages marketing promotions nights through the week where one can still obtain a ale for just a quid!
2. The Tunnel. Here is the last word in funky Glasgow dance clubs. Ear breaking party tunes combine with chart hits, electro funk and in many cases the random chunk of retro -chic music (Rick Astley anybody?). This particular venue certainly is the spot to certain you're seen on the social scene so dress to stand out and party the evening away.
3. The Cathouse. This is the real institution in Scotland. The Cathouse was one of the initial rock night clubs in the uk and it's also even now going strong currently. Live bands certainly are a normal feature and if you enjoy your music hard, quite heavy and deafening then you are set for a genuine treat. Black clothing is, needless to say, de-rigeur as is a need to thrash about wildly at every opportunity - I really like this particular establishment.
The
Glasgow clubs scene hasn't been more healthy or even more varied. Be prepared to see many young people out midweek however the remaining portion of the populace would rather party on the weekend so make sure you get along early on and then leave late.
